ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Philippines has just announced their newest gaming laptops featuring Intel's latest 13th gen processor. Highlighting a slew of significant updates including next-gen GPUs, redesigned chassis, improved intelligent cooling design, and eye-popping 16- and 18-inch displays.
These powerhouse laptops are prepared to power victories among esports pros and gaming enthusiasts alike.
An All-New Zephyrus M16
The Zephyrus M16 has been redesigned from the ground up with an even more refined feel and upgraded performance. Featuring a new chassis design which allows for a larger, full-width heatsink into the machine paired with ROG’s Tri-Fan Technology.
This routes air from three fans through precisely calculated cutouts toward the heatsink for more efficient cooling. Allowing the M16 to reach 20W higher than last year’s model to truly push the Intel® Core i9-13900H processor and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4090 Laptop GPU as far as possible.
The Zephyrus M16 also features Nebula HDR display powered by a Mini LED backlight with individual zones that can brighten and dim individually for stunning contrast. With 1,024 dimming zones, up to 1100 nits of peak brightness, and QHD resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate.
The new M16 also spotlights leveled up craftsmanship with a new mirror-polishing technique and nano-sandblasting technology for fingerprint resistance and a luxurious finish.
To top it all off, it is the second laptop ever to feature ROG’s iconic AniMe Matrix™ Display. The larger, 16-inch canvas of the M16 allows for larger, more beautiful animations than ever, shining through thousands of precision-milled holes in the lid of the chassis for a customizable one-of-a-kind look.

2023 Strix and SCAR Lineups
The Strix SCAR 18 features an Intel® Core™ i9-13980HX processor alongside an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4090 Laptop GPU.
This also features the MUX Switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. This intelligently ensures optimal frame rates when plugged in and better battery life when untethered, with no manual intervention needed.
The Strix G16 and Strix G18 on the other hand are powered by up to an Intel® Core™ i9-13980HX CPU and an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 Laptop GPU with up to 140W of power using Dynamic Boost and the same MUX Switch with Advanced Optimus.
The redesigned 16- and 18-inch Strix also includes an all-new Intelligent Cooling suite featuring ROG’s Tri-Fan Technology first introduced on the 2022 Flow X16.
It's an enlarged version of the Flow X16's heatsink fitted for the 2023 Strix SCAR 18, Strix G16, and Strix G18.
This larger heatsink increases surface area for heat dissipation by up to 92.23% compared with 2022 models. Combined with Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on both the CPU and GPU with 7 heat pipes allowing for higher TGPs for this year’s CPUs and GPUs.
The new 18-inch Strix SCAR is available with up to WQXGA 240Hz displays while Strix 16 and 18 offer up to WUXGA 165Hz display with Dolby Vision technology.

New Core Tech Across the TUF Gaming F15
New for 2023, this also features the MUX Switch with NVIDIA® Advanced Optimus which bypasses the integrated graphics when gaming to increase performance and reduce latency automatically
This iteration is also equipped with a pair of 84-blade Arc Flow Fans™ which improves airflow up to 13% more while also making it quieter than last year's design.
