ROG is taking things to the next level with its newly launched lineup of 2025 gaming laptops and desktops, all powered by the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 Series GPUs. Whether you prefer Intel or AMD, these new machines are built to deliver unmatched performance for gamers and creators alike.
ROG Strix 2025 Series
Leading the charge is the 2025 ROG Strix family, featuring the Strix SCAR 18, SCAR 16, G18, and G16 models. These laptops come with a refreshed design, improved cooling systems, and a tool-less bottom panel—just press a button to pop it open for cleaning or upgrades.
The Strix SCAR models now sport ROG Nebula HDR displays with dual-layer ACR film, reducing reflections by 55% and increasing contrast by 4.5x.
Inside, they’re powered by up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, paired with the new DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation, boosting frame rates by up to 8x while improving visual clarity and reducing ghosting.
CPU options include up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX or an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX, depending on your preference.
Performance-wise, these machines are built to handle everything you throw at them:
- Up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB storage (SCAR 16/18)
- Up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage (G16/18)
Intel-powered Strix models use a sandwiched heatsink design for improved cooling, pushing up to 230W in Turbo Mode. AMD-based models feature 7 heat pipes, full-surround vents, and tri-fan cooling for stable performance.

The refreshed ROG Zephyrus lineup is designed for gamers on the go. The G16 now supports up to an RTX 5070 Ti with Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, while the G14 comes with up to an RTX 5070 and the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.

The new TUF Gaming F16 offers solid performance with up to an RTX 5070 GPU, paired with up to a 14th Gen Intel Core i7. It’s got fully upgradable RAM and storage, a large 90Whr battery, and a durable, lightweight build (1.79 cm thick and 2.2kg).

ROG also teased the upcoming TUF Gaming T500 desktop. It will feature up to an RTX 5060 Ti, Intel Core i7-13620H, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Expect MIL-STD-810H durability, front I/O panel, and RGB lighting.
The TUF Gaming T500MV will come in RTX 5060 Ti / 5060 / 3050 variants.
