PlayStation 6 to Feature AMD Hardware? Hints Executive at HP Philippines Event

At HP Philippines Day 2025, held at Conrad Manila, industry leaders came together to showcase the future of technology — with AI at its core. Among the key speakers was an executive from AMD, who spoke about the company’s expanding role in powering next-generation computing experiences in partnership with HP.

The executive highlighted how AMD chips are already embedded in cutting-edge systems, from Tesla vehicles to NASA’s Mars Rover. But what truly caught our attention was a brief mention of AMD’s ongoing collaboration with major gaming console makers — namely Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox.

While no specifics were disclosed, the executive strongly hinted that — much like with the PlayStation 5 — AMD is already set to power the next generation of Sony’s console, potentially the long-anticipated PlayStation 6.

Though details remain scarce, the teaser has already generated buzz among attendees — ourselves included.
