OnePlus has just launched its newest flagship, the OnePlus 15, featuring fast performance, a pro-level camera setup, and a handy set of AI features.
The device runs on a triple chip system led by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It packs a dedicated touch chip that boosts touch sampling to 3200Hz for smoother gameplay, plus a separate WiFi chip for stronger connections in crowded areas. Together, the system keep gaming, media, and multitasking smooth.
Cooling is handled by a 360 Cryo-Velocity system that uses aerospace materials which include aerogel and white graphite to manage heat efficiently.
On its front is a 1.5K 165Hz LTPO display that hits 1800 nits of brightness and can dim to 1 nit. It’s also TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0 certified.
For gaming, the OnePlus 15 includes a UAV-grade gyroscope with ±4000 DPS precision for more accurate motion control, less drift, and steadier aim.
Battery life is also expected to be strong with a massive 7300mAh Silicon NanoStack Battery. It’s designed to stay above 80 percent health after four years and works even at -20°C. Charging is fast with 120W SUPERVOOC that tops up in about 39 minutes, plus 50W wireless charging.
The OnePlus 15 has a triple 50MP camera setup: a main camera with OIS, an ultra-wide, and a periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical and 7x lossless zoom. The DetailMax Engine boosts detail, action shots, and low light images. It also supports 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video and LOG for color grading.
It runs OxygenOS 16 with OnePlus AI and Google Gemini. Users can save anything on-screen to a Mind Space knowledge base using the Plus Key or a three-finger swipe which Gemini can access to give personalized suggestions.
Other tools include AI Writer, AI Recorder with speaker identification, and AI Portrait Glow. Eligible users can get a three-month Google AI Pro trial.
For design, the OnePlus 15 has a clean, precise camera layout, ultra-slim bezels, and a flat frame with rounded edges. Weight is balanced for comfortable handling. It also comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.
