POCO launches X8 Pro Max, X8 Pro, and Iron Man Edition with Dimensity 9500, 8000mAh battery; prices from P15,499

POCO has officially unveiled the new POCO X8 Series, headlined by the POCO X8 Pro Max, POCO X8 Pro, and the POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition. This latest lineup continues the brand’s focus on delivering flagship-level performance and features at aggressive price points.

POCO X8 Pro Max

Leading the series is the POCO X8 Pro Max, the first device to feature the latest Dimensity 9000-series chip, powered by the Dimensity 9500. Based on POCO’s internal AnTuTu benchmarks, it breaks the 3 million mark with a score of 3,085,995. This performance is backed by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, while thermals are handled by the POCO 3D IceLoop Cooling System.

The device sports a large 6.83-inch display with up to 3500 nits of brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. It also comes with an IP69K rating and carries an SGS 5-star performance certification.

For cameras, the Pro Max features a 50MP main shooter using the LightFusion 600 sensor, paired with a 20MP front camera. It also supports eSIM and packs a massive 8000mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge.

POCO X8 Pro

Meanwhile, the more affordable POCO X8 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor and uses the POCO 3D Dual-layer IceLoop Cooling System. It comes in a more compact 6.59-inch form factor, while still offering up to 3500 nits brightness, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and an IP69K rating.

It houses a 6500mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge, though eSIM support is exclusive to the Pro Max.

Camera-wise, the X8 Pro also features a 50MP main sensor, this time using the Sony IMX882, along with a 20MP front camera.

Both devices support POCO’s AI Creative Assistant features.

POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition

POCO has also teamed up with Marvel to introduce the POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition.

Inspired by one of Stark Industries’ most iconic black-and-gold armors, the device features a sleek black finish accented with striking gold elements. At the center, the camera module is designed to resemble Iron Man’s Arc Reactor, tying the whole look together with a bold, premium feel.

Beyond the hardware, the experience continues with a fully customized Iron Man-themed UI. The black-and-gold aesthetic carries through the interface, and upon startup, Iron Man “awakens,” setting the tone for a more immersive, sci-fi-inspired experience.
