Insta360 has officially launched the Insta360 X6 in the Philippines, its latest flagship 8K 360 camera. The launch brought together members of the media, creators, and industry partners for an exclusive media roundtable.
The X6 combines upgraded 360 imaging, flexible shooting modes, and AI-powered editing in a compact camera designed for travel, adventure, content creation, and everyday use.

Upgraded 8K 360 imaging
The X6 uses custom dual Sony 1/1.1-inch square sensors for improved detail and low-light performance. It can record up to 8K at 50fps, with 10-bit color and in-camera Dolby Vision for richer colors and greater detail.
The camera can also work as a 360 camera, subject-tracking camera, or single-lens action camera. Users can capture everything around them and choose the best angle later, shoot flat 4K footage with InstaFrame 2.0, or use single-lens mode for a more traditional action camera experience.

For longer shoots, the X6 features a 2,600mAh Battery that can provide up to 140 minutes of 8K30fps 360 recording. Its Star-Ridge cooling system also helps maintain stable performance during extended 8K recording.
The camera comes with 64GB of built-in storage, with 47GB available for use, allowing users to start recording without a microSD card. It also supports more than 100 accessories for activities such as travel, motorcycle riding, cycling, diving, and outdoor sports.
AI-powered editing
The X6 introduces Insta360 PanoMind, an AI model designed specifically to understand 360-degree footage.
Through AI Director, the camera can analyze footage while charging and automatically create highlight edits that are sent to the Insta360 app, reducing the need to manually review hours of footage.
For more editing control, Auto Edit 2.0 can combine one or multiple clips into a complete edit with framing, camera movements, cuts, music, and transitions.
The X6 also supports I-Log, 10-bit recording, Insta360 Studio, and Insta360+ cloud-based editing tools for more advanced workflows.

Following the launch, Insta360 Philippines will continue its hands-on workshops through authorized retail partners and local communities.
