Xiaomi has just made available its latest mid-range smartphone lineup, the Xiaomi 13T Series. Comprised of two models: the Xiaomi 13T and the 13T Pro, the line up now carries Leica-branded cameras.
Both phones come with a triple camera setup, featuring Summicron lenses co-engineered with Leica. The series boasts a 50MP (24mm) wide-angle camera, a 50MP (50mm) telephoto lens, and a 12MP (15mm) ultra-wide-angle camera.
With a 100% DCI-P3, both the Xiaomi 13T Pro and Xiaomi 13T's cameras have a wider color range which helps to capture the classic Leica quality.
The series also include original Leica photographic styles with filters featuring looks from the Leica Sepia and Leica Blue adapted from LeicaM-Typ240 Film Mode.
Enhanced videography features
Enough to make videographers drool, the series now features 10-bit LOG 4:2:0 H.265 video recording. It also comes with pre-installed Rec.709 LUT and has the ability to import your favorite LUT style to the device.
In addition, Xiaomi 13T Pro brings 8K video shooting capability while the 13T supports 4K on all rear cameras.
There's also a new Pro mode for the Video editor in the Xiaomi Gallery app which enables captions and additional soundtracks to be easily edited as separate tracks.
Top class performance
Not just a powerhouse on camera features, the series also carries flagship-grade performance. The Xiaomi 13T Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset while the Xiaomi 13T runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra.
Both phones include improvements in thermal dissipation with an extra-large 5000mm(2) VC stainless steel soaking plate, ensuring the phones remain cool.
