The vivo Y29 is set to launch on May 31, 2025, as the follow-up to the vivo Y28. This model places a noticeable emphasis on design, with a look intended to appeal to users who care about aesthetics and portability.
Part of the Y Series, the vivo Y29 is aimed at a budget range suitable for students, young professionals, and content creators.
It will be available in two colors: Marble White and Espresso Brown. For the first time in the Y Series, vivo has included a quad-curved back cover, a design element previously seen in its flagship devices.
The phone is only 8.09mm thick and weighs 205 grams.
Taking some cues from luxury watch designs, it's rear camera module features a double-layer diamond pattern on the outer ring, similar to what's seen in the vivo X200 series.
Moreover, the Dynamic Light feature from the Y28 returns, offering animated light effects that activate during calls, when taking photos, or when playing music.
