Just before the year wraps up, POCO rolls out its main F series release, the new POCO F8 Series. This lineup marks a big moment for the brand, especially with the POCO F8 Ultra debuting a bold partnership with audio giant Bose, bringing Sound by Bose to the series for the first time. POCO F8 Ultra
Aiming to keep its flagship killer reputation, the POCO F8 Ultra packs the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with the VisionBoost D8 chipset. It hits an impressive 3,944,934 score on AnTuTu and is designed for smooth gaming and visuals, even reaching up to 120 FPS through Smart Frame Rate.
Since it runs on Xiaomi’s platform, it also benefits from the brand’s fine tuned performance features like WildBoost Optimization, which balances CPU and GPU load for peak performance when needed and lower power draw with less heat during lighter use.
Cooling is handled by LiquidCool Technology, featuring a dual layer IceLoop system that efficiently manages heat so extended gaming stays stable. This is paired with the premium acoustic experience brought by Sound by Bose.
The F8 Ultra also upgrades its display game through the new POCO HyperRGB panel. Instead of a typical 2K setup, it uses a full RGB subpixel structure where all red, green, and blue subpixels are active, giving you better efficiency with 19.5 percent lower power consumption compared to the previous Ultra model.
For cameras, the POCO F8 Ultra carries a 50MP Light Fusion 950 sensor with OIS and a larger 1/1.31 inch sensor size. It’s also equipped with POCO’s first 50MP 5x periscope telephoto lens, offering 10x in sensor zoom and up to 20x ultra zoom.
Powering everything is a 6500mAh battery, the biggest ever on an F series device.
Price and Availability
POCO F8 Ultra is available in two colors: Denim Blue and Black.
It will be available on the official POCO store on Lazada in two variants: 12GB+256GB (PhP 34,999 from November 26 to December 9, from PhP 40,999 SRP, with a free Xiaomi 50W Wireless Charging Stand), and 16GB+512GB (PhP 37,999 until December 9, from PhP 42,999 SRP).
