At the recent Now Your Run product launch in Madrid, Spain, HUAWEI officially announced the comeback of its flagship Mate series with the new HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro.
As announced on the brands Facebook post, the new Mate device will land in the Philippines this coming April 2026.
Renowned for its cameras and durability, the Mate series continues its legacy with the Mate 80 Pro, now featuring an AI-powered True-to-Color camera system. The device sports a 6.75-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2832×1280 pixels, protected by 2nd Generation KunLun Glass. Under the hood, it uses the SuperCool Dual Phase Change heat dissipation system to keep performance smooth.
In terms of design, the Mate 80 Pro introduces the Dual Space Ring Design and comes with IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
Photography is a major highlight: the flagship features a 50MP Ultralighting camera with a physical aperture of f/1.4–f/4.0 and OIS on its RYYB sensor, a 40MP ultrawide camera, a 48MP Ultralighting macro telephoto camera with OIS, and a 13MP front-facing selfie camera.
Powering the device is EMUI 15, backed by a 5750mAh battery and 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge support, making it one of the most advanced Mate devices yet.
