Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 17 in the Philippines. And after years of waiting, the Ultra variant is finally available locally as well with the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
The Xiaomi 17 Series continues its collaboration with legendary camera brand Leica, doubling down on premium mobile photography.

Leading the lineup, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a 1 inch LOFIC Light Fusion 1050L sensor built for next generation HDR image capture.
It also carries a 200MP 75 to 100mm telephoto camera with mechanical optical zoom. This system can extend up to 400mm or 17.2x zoom and is engineered to LEICA APO optical standards for better clarity and color accuracy.
Despite the upgrades, it is the brand’s thinnest Ultra yet at just 8.29mm and 218.4g. It uses Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0 with 30% better drop resistance compared to the previous Ultra, plus IP68 dust and water resistance.

The Xiaomi 17, on the other hand, uses a Light Fusion 950 1/1.31 inch sensor. It is paired with a LEICA 60mm floating telephoto lens capable of 5x optical zoom and 10cm macro shooting. It can also extend up to 20x AI Ultra zoom.
Video features include 4K 60FPS Dolby Vision recording and 4K 60FPS LOG video. For selfies, it comes with a 50MP front camera.
All of this is packed inside a slim 8.06mm body weighing 191g, protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass and rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is priced at PhP 99,999. You can preorder it online through the official Xiaomi store or via Shopee for a special price of PhP 84,999.
