Samsung has unveiled the new Galaxy Tab S12 series, consisting of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+. The new tablets feature upgraded performance, large Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, Galaxy AI and bundled S Pen support.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is Samsung’s thinnest Galaxy Tab yet at just 5.1mm, while the Tab S12+ features a 12.6-inch display. The Ultra gets a larger 14.6-inch panel. Both displays support up to 1,600 nits peak brightness and feature Vision Booster.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab S12 series uses a 3nm processor, with Samsung claiming up to 61% faster NPU performance, 19% faster CPU performance and 17% improved GPU performance compared with the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
Battery life is rated at up to 23 hours on the Tab S12 Ultra and 21 hours on the Tab S12+. Both support 45W charging and feature IP68 water and dust resistance.
The tablets run Android 17 with One UI 9 and come with Galaxy AI features such as Note Assist. Users can also use Multi Window to run up to three sections on the screen simultaneously.
The S Pen comes bundled with both models, while Samsung is also offering accessories such as the Book Cover Keyboard Slim and Pro Keyboard separately.

The Galaxy Tab S12 series also comes with several software offers, including six months of Google AI Pro, four months of Adobe Photoshop Premium and one year of Microsoft 365. Adobe Photoshop is pre-loaded on the tablets.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series Philippines availability
The Galaxy Tab S12 series will be available for pre-order exclusively on Shopee from October 9 to 20, 2026, followed by its online launch on October 21 through Samsung.com, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopee, MemoX.com and Abenson.com.
It will then be available at Samsung Experience Stores and authorized retailers starting October 28.
Launch offers include a free productivity bundle with a Book Cover Keyboard Slim, S Pen and 45W travel adapter worth up to PHP 18,279. Buyers can also get third-party app benefits worth up to PHP 24,161.
Other offers include up to PHP 12,000 trade-in savings, 0% installment plans for up to 36 months and additional discounts for select bank cards. Students can also get 10% off in participating stores or an additional PHP 5,000 off through the Samsung Education Store.
