Filipino Potterheads have something to look forward to as the realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition is set to arrive in the Philippines. The limited edition smartphone features Hogwarts-inspired hardware, custom software elements, and special packaging that goes beyond the usual themed accessories.
The phone features a Hogwarts Four-House Crest on a 3D diamond-pattern leather finish inspired by the wizarding world's chessboard. Under UV light, all four house colors appear on the back panel through realme's Quadra Light-Sensing Color-changing Tech, which the brand describes as a world-first feature.
Other design details include a Hedwig-inspired aluminum alloy camera deco and a laser-engraved “Welcome to Hogwarts” message on the mid-frame. Despite these additions, the phone measures just 8.47mm thick.
The Harry Potter theme continues in the software, with a Hogwarts Castle wallpaper, a themed boot animation, a fingerprint animation featuring acceptance letters, and more than 30 redesigned app icons.
Underneath the themed design, the realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition packs a 200MP LumaColor Camera, which realme describes as the industry's first TÜV-certified camera of its kind. It also features a 7,000mAh Titan Battery with 80W fast charging, a 144Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, and IP69 Pro dust and water resistance.
The limited edition also comes in a gift box styled as a Hogwarts acceptance kit, complete with a hidden surprise that realme has yet to reveal.
realme Philippines has yet to announce the device's pricing and availability but we're tuned in on the brand's official Facebook page for updates and the upcoming full reveal.
