Xiaomi’s latest Smart Band 10 has gotten a serious upgrade but also brings a more premium build, improved health tracking, and a brighter AMOLED display—all while keeping things affordable.
But with so many lookalike smart bands and budget smartwatches on the market today, is the Smart Band 10 just another yearly refresh, or is this the version that finally stands out? Let’s find out.
Bigger, Brighter, Better Display
I’ve been using the Xiaomi Smart Band since the 8th generation. While the jump from the 8 to 9 felt minimal, the upgrade with the Smart Band 10 is finally noticeable.
It now features a 1.72-inch AMOLED display with thinner bezels and an almost edge-to-edge design—gone is that uneven chin we’ve seen in past models. It’s also significantly brighter, reaching up to 1,500 nits, making it easy to view even under direct sunlight.

If you’re coming from the 8th gen, you’ll immediately notice the jump in sharpness and clarity. The visuals are crisper, and animations feel smoother, especially with the upgraded interface.

Clean, Customizable Design
The Smart Band 10 comes in several color options, including Black, Silver, and a ceramic edition with pearl or silk-style straps. I’ve been using the Silver variant—it looks clean, premium, and subtly stands out without trying too hard.
Another thoughtful touch is the strap compatibility. Bands from the Smart Band 8, 9, and 10 are interchangeable, so if you already have a collection or simply want to change things up, you’re good to go. Whether you're after comfort, style, or both, that kind of flexibility is a big plus.
Packed with Fitness & Health Features
The Smart Band 10 remains a solid fitness companion. It comes with more than 150 workout modes, 5ATM water resistance, VO2 max, recovery time, training load, real-time heart rate monitoring, SpO2, stress tracking, and sleep monitoring.
I’m not living an ultra-active lifestyle, but for day-to-day tracking, it gets the job done. It’s been accurate in tracking steps, calories, and especially sleep—helping me figure out when I need to start sleeping earlier.
Also, gone are the days when you had to manually tap just to check your heart rate. Now, every time you open the heart rate card, it’s already updated, refreshing almost in real time every few minutes.
What really stood out for me was the comfort while wearing it overnight. The band is slim, light, and the tucked-in strap design means nothing gets caught in the sheets. Honestly, this is one of the most comfortable sleep trackers I’ve ever used.
Smarter Everyday Experience
Just like the Band 9, the Smart Band 10 runs on HyperOS, which gives it tighter integration with Xiaomi’s ecosystem. You can control your phone’s camera (yes, it works even with iPhones), manage music playback, receive app notifications with quick replies to name a few.
To be honest, a lot of features found in Xiaomi’s more premium Redmi Watch series are also present here. Sure, it’s a different form factor, so the experience isn’t identical—but if you’re after functionality, the Band 10 doesn’t fall short.
There’s also a wide range of watch faces to explore through the app. And thanks to the larger screen, the UI now feels much more like a mini smartwatch than a basic fitness tracker.
Battery That Lasts
Even with the upgraded display, battery life is excellent. It's rated to last up to 21 days on typical use, and around 9 days with Always-On Display turned on.
And, I'd say it's pretty realistic. There were times I’d switch back to a regular watch and forget about the Band 10 sitting on my desk. When I’d put it back on days later, it still had charge left. Battery endurance is definitely one of its strongest features.
Final thoughts
While there are plenty of cheaper smartwatches and fitness bands popping up, I wouldn't be too quick to rely on most of them for accurate tracking. In my experience, many of those tend to just guess numbers. Thankfully, we still have the Xiaomi Band series as a reliable go-to option.
And as the latest iteration of this well-regarded lineup, the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 gets an automatic yes from me. Yes—if you're a first-timer exploring fitness bands. Yes—if you're upgrading from an older model.
With its bigger and brighter display, wide range of smartwatch features, ultra-comfortable design for sleep tracking, and support for interchangeable straps, the Smart Band 10 is hard to beat at its price point.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is priced at PhP 2,499 for the standard color variants, while the Pearl White Ceramic Edition comes in at PhP 3,499.
