Beyond the Cybertruck Test: HONOR X9d 5G Breaks 1M AnTuTu Score

After going viral for its durability test last Monday, January 5, 2025 where it was run over, thrown, and slammed against the steel body of a Tesla Cybertruck, the HONOR X9d 5G definitely caught everyone’s attention.

But beyond the toughness demo, the bigger question is performance. Powered by Qualcomm’s relatively new Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, some critics are already questioning whether it’s enough to satisfy enthusiasts, especially given the processor choice.

So we decided to test it ourselves. We’re still in the middle of our full review, but in our initial AnTuTu Benchmark V11 run, the HONOR X9d 5G already crossed the 1 million mark. This was on our very first run, with no tweaks or optimizations applied. Repeated tests delivered similar scores, and after checking with other tech reviewers, they were seeing nearly the same results.

It’s a surprising outcome, and while some will still question its real world performance, our experience so far has been very positive.

HONOR X9d AnTuTu Benchmark Score over 1M

We’ll be diving deeper into real world performance, gaming, and sustained usage in our full review, so stay tuned to see if the HONOR X9d 5G can back up the hype beyond benchmarks.
